About Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor Saud Hamza

Dr Saud Hamza is a highly experienced Consultant Oncoplastic Breast/General Surgeon specializing in oncoplastic breast, thyroid, and general surgery. He holds academic positions as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Curtin Medical School and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia.

Clinical Associate Professor Hamza practices across several leading hospitals in Western Australia, including Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group, St John of God Murdoch and Subiaco, Peel Health Campus, the Mount, and Hollywood Private Hospital.


He completed his medical degree in 1991 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010. He received international training through prestigious fellowships, including an ASCO-funded program in Milan and advanced subspecialty training in Perth and Brisbane.


A founding member of BreastSurgANZ and active contributor to multiple surgical societies, Clinical Associate Professor Hamza has a special interest in oncoplastic breast surgery, thyroid surgery, and advanced laparoscopic procedures. He continues to lead and innovate in surgical education, training, and clinical excellence.
