Dr Damen is an experienced Surgical Assistant working in both Public and Private hospitals in WA and Interstate, and a Locum General Surgical Registrar.  Skilled in General Surgery, Gynaecological Oncology, Colorectal, Upper GI/Bariatric, Orthopaedic and Robotic Surgery, Dr Damen has a keen interest in medical education and research.

Dr Damen participated in her first CTEC run workshop in 2013 and since 2016 has consistently facilitated on a number of CTEC workshops across the JDocs and Cutting Edge suites. In 2025 she convened CTEC’s The Cutting Edge: Introductory Wound Suturing Workshop.
