Dr Wei Ling Ooi is a Specialist Breast Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), with advanced training through the BreastSurgANZ Fellowship in Breast and Oncoplastic Surgery in NSW and Perth.
She is a Consultant Breast Surgeon at a major tertiary hospital in Perth, managing complex breast conditions including cancer, benign disease, and high-risk cases. Known for her patient-centred approach, Dr Ooi combines advanced surgical techniques with compassionate care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide tailored treatment plans.
Dr Ooi is also actively involved in medical education as the lead education coordinator for UWA and Curtin University, and supervises junior doctors and surgical trainees. As the research lead within her Breast Unit, she contributes to ongoing clinical research and has presented and published widely in her field.
