This advanced level workshop aims to equip Rural Generalists with surgical credentialling and Rural Generalist Surgical Trainees with a reliable foundation in procedural skills, which in turn supports a greater level of service to patients in rural and remote communities. These practitioners should have access to appropriate levels of equipment and operating facilities. It does not provide certification of competence in any of the procedures outlined and practised.
