Key procedures covered in this workshop include ICC insertion, difficult airway management, suprapubic insertion, nerve blocks and CVC line insertion utilising ultrasound.
This hands-on skills training workshop aims to increase the knowledge and confidence of participants to perform a range of procedures including those which are not routinely performed in the clinical setting. Participants will benefit from the expertise of senior faculty from Emergency Medicine.
The workshop is highly relevant for doctors practising in emergency settings in peripheral, regional or austere environments. Participant places are restricted to 12 positions to maximise practical procedural time.
